Hi all, I am totally newbie here, but searched enough at the archive to find out that none of the existing threads related to the above error message could not help me. I downloaded and installed maxdb with the tgz fil provided at the mysql.com, every thing was fine! I even managed to create a database with: ./dbmcli db_create blue ab,ab and worked perfetct with a OK response. now I am trying to start the db with: root@(protected):/opt/sdb/programs/bin# ./dbmcli -d blue -u ab,ab db_start but :
ERR - -24994,ERR_RTE: runtime environment error 1,Check knldiag! Kernel died before reaching ADMIN state
and strangely there is no knldiag on the machine. I tryed to increase shmmax and also use LD_ASSUME_KERNEL but none helped. I am using debian/sarge
help me please. Regards Arash
