lol

I can do everything I need to do one way or the other in GUI tools.
The fact is IMHO the GUI tools kick ass compared to PHP myadmin, especially
when used local to the mysql server. I have reported many bugs and suggested
refinements to the GUI tools as they are brilliant.

Michael answered there will be something in a couple of weeks, so we are just
days away - exciting and can't wait to see what the team have put together this
time for the Mysql comunity. At the time of the Alpha release of workbench, I
was using a windows platform and as Michael said, it was a bit unstable. I have
since migrated to a Fedora system and have not used workbench in the slightest.

I read Michaels blog and he certainly seems to have been working hard, so lets
see the result. I am hoping they have had the time to add things to
Administrator and Query browser - for example, the ability to edit triggers;
the poor layout when editing views e.t.c if all these smaller things have been
achieved as well as a good stab at workbench then we are in for a treat.

There have been lots of bugfixes and enhancements since mysql released a binary
of the GUI tools and so frankly, I can't wait.
