Back It depends a bit on what you actually want to do with the duplicates but if you are just interested in knowing if you have some then the following should do the trick.
SELECT Name, COUNT(*) FROM MyTable GROUP BY Name HAVING COUNT(*) > 1
This will give a list of names that occur more than once with a count of how many of each there are.
