All,

We had a DB crash on our 64bit 7.5 MAXdb.  I ended up
deleting the DB, then restoring it from a previous backup.  I created a
new DB based on the backup media, and then ran a db_activate recover...
The issue seems to be that after the DB came back online the control
user is no longer there?  It seems that the user dbm has taken its
place.  It seems that LiveCache is not happy with dbm and wants control
back in there.

So my question is this, can I rename dbm to control?  Can I copy dbm to
control?  Can I make LiveCache accept the new dbm user instead of
control?  LiveCache seems to be working now with a manual start of the
DB and can read it, but I need to be able to Start/Stop the DB through
SCM (LC10) which I currently cannot.

I know this is a possible mixture of SAP and MAXdb issue, but I'd really
prefer to reach out to the MAXdb community first, you guys respond
faster and better than SAP.

Thanks in advance,

Chris
