ANN: DBPAQ 7.3.48.1

Hello SAPDB/MAXDB users,

I am pleased to announce that DBPAQ 7.3.48.1 are now available.

SAPDB 7.3 had worked well but SAP AG (owner of SAPDB) stoped SAPDB 7.3
as an open source project and no maintenance has been published since
release 7.3.48.  So we folked.

DBPAQ use standard tools such as GNU make, GCC etc.
You do not need the old SAPDB tool chains.
All PASCAL sources were preprocessed and they are C in DBPAQ.

You can read more at the SourceForge here:

 http://dbpaq.sourceforge.net/

Download it from the SourceForge here:

 http://sourceforge.net/projects/dbpaq

Many thanks to the people who published SAPDB 7.3 in LGPL and the
developers who made ADABAS-D/SAPDB 7.3.  Also thanks in advance to the
people who will contribute to DBPAQ by testing it, and by sending
fixes.

Enjoy!

Kuragano Tetsuhiro
