To whom this may concern,

We have difficulties with the updating of our standby database. We're
using MaxDB Version 7.6.00.16 on a Microsoft Windows 2003 Server. The
standby system is identical. We're updating the standby instance on the
standby server with log backups of the original database. We proceed, as
described in the online help. Now the log recovery of the standby
database has been interrupted. The log recovery with the tool dbmcli
aborted with the following error:

dbmcli on CGITRMS>ERR
-24895,ERR_SHUTDOWN: shutdown of database occured
-24994,ERR_RTE: Runtime environment error
6,connection broken

I was able to restore many logs before the error occurred. I'm also able
to restore the last successful restored log again and again. For detail
I sent an abstract of the KNLDIAG log:

The log LogSicherung.948 was the last one I could restore. The Recovery
of all Logs since the last complete Backup (this was before
LogSicherung.837) worked fine. The result column in the backup history
of the original database  says "OK" for the log I couldn't restore. This
is LogSicherung.949.
