My application polls a MySQL table every few seconds. A few times a day, when
doing an open using a CRecordset, the ODBC set-up screen pop-ups and the
application waits for a user response. After clicking to continue the
application gets an error on the CRecordset open of -1 "User cancelled".  The
application might run fine for hours or a day or two, then out of the blue this
happens. Any ideas why? Any idea how to stop it ?
