Hello, My name is Minnyo Hong from South Korea.

I?m a kind of system architect and a database programmer.

Actually this is the first time to use MySQL.

Now I do feasibility test of MySQL and Linux for my application.

I need to access MySQL database on Linux using C++ program compiled by gcc.

I think that I can access My SQL using MyODBC but I don?t know how.

Can you tell me any useful information for that?

(Any Examples or Web sites?)

Actually, in MySQL manual, you have examples about .NET, C# , VB and
Windows(In Connector Part, chapter 23).

But you don?t have any example on Linux, Unix.

OR, is there any other way to access MySQL on Linux not using ODBC?

I?m sorry to bother you.

Thank you.
