  | |  | MaxDB and C# | MaxDB and C# 2004-04-07 - By Sergio Cossa
Back Hi
Just beginning to use MaxDB, always I used SQL Server.
I was able to connect the base without problems through ODBC in C#, ASP.NET and Windows 2000 with an odbcConnection:
string sConnect = "driver={MaxDB};server=admin6;uid=DBA;pwd=DBA;database=myDataBase;OPTION=3";
But I only obtain an error when I execute a stored procedure through connection ODBC:
ERROR [42000] [MySQL MaxDB][SQLOD32 DLL][MaxDB] Syntax error or access violation;-3005 POS(1) Invalid SQL statement
The SP is a simple: SELECT * FROM MyTable
I not if I have created the SP correctly.
In SQL Studio I executed a SQL Dialog with:
create dbproc MyNewData AS SELECT * FROM MyTable
I can see the created SP, but when I want to see its definition, it appears an empty dialog.
Can somebody helpme? Is an error when creating the SP, or Is some error of driver ODBC?
Alguien pudo utilizar esta base de datos desde ASP.NET?
Thank you very much! ( and sorry by my bad english )
Sergio Cossa Argentina
