Hi,

I'm trying to connect to a MaxDB system using dbmcli -D <db_name> -u control
,control (as far as I'm aware the default password hasn't been changed, but
obviously it has been) and I'm getting the following error:

Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database LQ5: ERR_USRFAIL: user
authorization failed

Does anyone know of a way to reset the default users (control, superdba) back
to the default passwords, or what the option for SDBINST is to re-initialise
the passwords?

Alternatively, is there a file I can copy over from another system where I know
what the passwords are to this system (new system is going to be a copy of the
source system)?

Regards,
Declan McArdle.
