The new production versions of MaxDB 7.6 and MaxDB 7.5 are available
now.

* Version 7.5.00.30

Version 7.6.00.12 contains the production version of the Installation
Manager (see http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/instupgrade.html) and a beta
version of the Synchronization Manager. This new MaxDB tool allows to
synchronize the table contents of two or more database instances. For
more information see http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/tools.html#syncman

Furthermore, there are the following new features in 7.6.00.12:
* In-place migration from version 7.3 to version 7.6
* New SQL statement RENAME SCHEMA
* 'Update Statistics' and 'Update Statistics Column' statements now able
to process large tables in parallel
* New default role 'DBAROLE' for DBA users
* JDBC supports the retrieval of binary data from character columns
* Support for Python which has been compiled to use UCS4 strings (Linux)

* Client downloads for version 7.5 and 7.6:
The download list for the client packages has been integrated into the
relevant standard download page.
For version 7.6 it was also expanded. Now we not only offer special
download packages for individual clients but also client baskets for
different platforms. (see
