To solve the problem: 1)Install all the packages required by MySQL-admin. You can see at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/administrator/en/mysql-gui-install-source-linux -prerequisites.html 2) Search and download packages from http://www.linuxpackages.net/ 3) Now, you need libstdc++.so.6. Go to http://rpmfind.net, search for libstdc++.so.6 and download the RPM Fedora 3 for i386 called libstdc++-3.4.2-6.fc3.i386.rpm 4) Compile a .tgz file with rpm2tgz libstdc++-3.4.2-6.fc3.i386.rpm 5)Install the .tgz package with installpkg command 6) From http://www.linuxpackages.net you have to download the Slackware package version of MySQL-admin: mysql-administrator-1 (See http://tor-1.ora-code.com).0.20a-i486-1JL.tgz and install it with installpkg command 7) Start mysql-administrator command and it works! (I hope for you)
