Slow SQLDriverConnect

Slow SQLDriverConnect

Hello there!

I am just starting up a server and this is my first attempt to post to the
ODBC mailing list, so I hope I will not break any code of honour or so..

I have been searching around the net and archives for explanations that
could describe why it could take 2-3 seconds to establish a connection, but
not really found the answer. I tried using a DSN-less connection string, but
the delay seems to still be 2-3 seconds.

I also enabled the connection pooling in the ODBC control panel. No
difference.

Where else could I look?

Cheers,

/Erik
