Hi,

I'm trying to build My ODBC on Suse Linux 9 (Service Pack 1) on IBM
P-Series.

I'm currently getting this error when I try to ./configure


MySQL CONFIGURATION - CLIENT LIBS AND HEADERS
checking if building of thread safe library is enabled... no
checking for mysql_real_query... no
configure: error: Could not find compile MySQL single user test program.
Please check config.log for errors

Using

../configure --with-mysql-path=/usr/local/mysql --with-iodbc=/usr/local

Config.log is attached

Any help appreciated.
