Connection problems

2005-04-22       - By John Creegan

 Back
Running ActiveState 5.6.1 (build 631) on Windows.
Just installed DBD-mysql from file DBD-mysql-2 (See http://sql-2.ora-code.com).9004.zip downloaded from http:/
/ppm.activestate.com/PPMPackages/zips/6xx-builds-only/

DBI version according to ppm is 1.23 (a bit old)

Attempting to connect with (genericized code)
$dbh = DBI->connect("DBI:mysql:database?;host=host, user, password,{'PrintError
' => 1}, {'RaiseError' => 1}");

Getting error:
Signal SEGV at //somesystem/x/y/Perl/site/lib/DBI.pm line 486
       DBI::connect('DBI', DBI:mysql:database?;host=host;us...') called at
test.pl line 520
       main::db('connect', 'db', 'host', 'user', 'password') called at test.pl
line 113

Any ideas will be appreciated.  Thanks!
