MySQL Migration Toolkit 1.0.4.0 - fails on Windows XP

2005-04-17       - By Terry Senovich

 Back

I've downloaded and installed the latest version of the migration
Toolkit on Windows XP.  I also made sure I have the latest JRE installed
(1.4.2.08).  The application always fails to launch, and the following
is logged in the event viewer:

Faulting application mysqlmigrationtool.exe, version 1.0.4.0, faulting
module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.1560, fault address 0x000138b2.

Has anyone gotten this (or any other earlier) version to run on Windows
XP ?
