I was having issues with getting DBD installed and during my
troubleshooting
efforts ended up installing a couple of mysql packages.  Now only one
works,
and not the one I'd like to use.  When I try and run the I'd like to it
gives me a can't
open mysql.sock errors.  I've read a little about using alternative
locations for the
sock, but I'd like to use the default position /tmp/mysql.sock.
I'm on OS X 10.3 and have tried to uninstall using the instructions
found here:
http://entropy.ch/software/macosx/mysql/
It uninstalled one, but I still have one exsisting that has a lock on
the current
mysql.sock...

Thanks Ahead of time,
Boysenberry
