I try to use myODBC for transfer purpose.
All is ok until I connect via myODBC to a remote database which login has been created for me with more than 15 characters.
My connection is refuseHi
The MD5 hash given in the download page and for the downloaded package
is not matching. I tried downloading several times (from several mirrors)
with different browsers but observed the same.Having some difficulty launching the mysql client. The
daemon starts okay but for some reason it thinks the
user is ODBC instead of root.

I tried to use the MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver on Windows XP and across a ZoneAlarm Firewall and it pass on conection test (Test button) but failed on selecting the database.

I have sucessfully setup a MySQL 4.1 database on one XP PC and can connect to it via ODBC from an Access Database.
My problem is I can 't setup an ODBC connection from my "other " PC - they aCan we expect to see an AIX binary for 3.51.11 anytime soon? A colleague
has been trying to build it but not been successful yet.
