after rebooting our system we have a problem with one
of three instances.
A connect is impossible
./dbmcli -u *** *** -d <instance >
Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database
<inI 'm trying to migrate a database from a 7.3.0.40 system to a separate
7.6.0.34. Both are running on Linux systems the 7.6 version installed
using RPMs on Fedora Core 6.
After successfully backing It was a mistake on my part.

is there a meaningful way how to recover a single table (which has been
deleted from the DB instance) from a (full/incremental) backup medium
without having to restore the full database instaHi
I have one simple question
is MaxDB (and its components) supported by Windows Vista?

with MaxDB 7.6.00.32 I have the problem that a temporary table created
inside a dbproc is not accessible outside the dbproc.
With 7.5.0.24 it was possible.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Changing the COLUMNCOMPRESSION parameter
on my 7.6 instance to NO did indeed fix the issue and I am now able to
load the data without errors. Just to make surehi

I have noticed that after importing a schema I have to do a full
backup otherwise the data will be read only. No problem with that.
